BACON AND MUSHROOM A LA POBRE


Ingredients:

1 /2 pack (of 500 g) PUREFOODS THICK CUT HONEYCURED BACON, sliced 1/2-inch thick
6 cloves (26 g) garlic, sliced
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1 can (400 g each) sliced button mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp liquid seasoning
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1/8 tsp chili pepper flakes

Procedure:

1. In a pan, fry bacon in its own fat until edges are crisp. Set aside.
2. Using the same pan, sauté garlic in butter.
3. Add mushrooms and then liquid seasoning.
4. Mix in bacon and season with salt and chili flakes. Serve hot.

Makes 4-5 servings.
