BACON BROWNIE LOLLIES


Ingredients:

1 cup (170 g) mini chocolate chips
1 pack (200 g) PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, fried and chopped
16 pc colored paper straws or wooden skewers

Brownies

1 box (500 g) MAGNOLIA FAST & EASY BAKE FUDGE BROWNIE MIX
1 pc (50 g) MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
1/4 cup water
5 tbsp cooking oil

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 165oC (325°F). Line a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan with baking paper. Set aside.
2. Combine brownie mix, egg, water and oil in a bowl. Mix well.
3. Pour into prepared pan and then bake for 20 minutes. 
4. Sprinkle half of chocolate chips on top of brownies then continue baking for another 5 minutes.
5. Let cool completely then slice brownies into 2x 2-inch pieces. Arrange on a rack.
6. Melt remaining chocolate chips in a microwave or over a double boiler.
7. Drizzle over brownies.
8. Immediately sprinkle bacon over brownies before the chocolate sets. Let set completely.
9. Skewer each brownie piece with wooden skewers or colored paper straws. Serve.

Makes 16 pieces.
