Baby Octo Dogs

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl mix pancake, eggs and water according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Slice one end of the hot dog into 8 slits and about 1 inch long to represent tentacles. Repeat with the rest of the hotdogs.
  3. Insert barbecue stick in the middle part of the tentacles. Dip the other end (without slits) into pancake batter.
  4. Fry in preheated oil. Cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Makes 8 servings.
