ALIGUE PASTA


Ingredients:

1/2 cup DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 head (52 g) garlic, minced
1 bottle (227 g) store-bought aligue or crab fat
1 pc (150 g) lemon, juice squeezed
1/8 tsp pepper
1 bundle (10 g) parsley, chopped (2 tbsp)
200 grams spaghetti, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. Melt margarine in a pan and sauté garlic.
  2. Add aligue and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add lemon juice and season with pepper. Cook for about 1 more minute and stir in chopped parsley. Cool.
  4. Top aligue or mix with spaghetti. Serve warm.

Makes 4 servings.

Tip/s:

  • After rinsing pasta, mix in 2 tbsp Dari Creme with some olive oil for added flavor and to prevent pasta from sticking.
  • You can substitute 8 pc calamansi for lemon juice.
