ADOBO FLAKES SALAD


Ingredients:

1 pack (220 g) PUREFOODS ADOBO FLAKES, reheated according to package direction
1 pack (170 g) mixed greens, rinsed and pat-dried
1 pc (80 g) cucumber, sliced
1 pc (57 g) tomato, sliced
1 pc (50 g) red onion, sliced
1 pc (250 g) green mango, sliced

Dressing

60 grams (10 pc) calamansi, juice squeezed (about 1 tbsp)
1/8 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp olive oil

Procedure:

1. In a pan, toas adobo flakes in 1/4 cup oil until desired crispiness is reached. Set aside.
2. To make dressing, whisk all ingredients in a bowl.
3. Place greens, cucumber, tomato, onion, and green mango in a serving bowl.
4. Top with adobo flakes. Toss in dressing upon serving.
 
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 6 cups/1 cup per serving)
 
Tip/s:
  • Semi ripe, ripe mangoes as well as drained peaches in syrup can also be used.
