ADOBO-FILLED PUTO


Ingredients:

Filling

1 Recipe CLASSIC ADOBO, drained and flaked

Puto Mixture

2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
3 tbsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
1-2/3 cups water

Procedure:

  1. Prepare steamer by filling with water until base is half-filled. Turn on heat to high until water boils. Prepare puto molds by lining it with muffin paper.
  2. Place a tablespoon of adobo in each mold. Set aside.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl. Add water and mix until smooth. Fill each mold with puto mixture. Arrange on the steamer and steam for 20 minutes.

Makes 20 pieces.
