3-INGREDIENT CHURROS


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
3/4 cup + 1 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
2 cups GOLDEN FRY PALM OIL

Cinnamon-Sugar (optional)

1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/3 cup sugar

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, simmer milk and then add flour. Mix well using a spatula or wooden spoon until a ball forms. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl. Continue mixing to cool down, and then gradually add eggs one at a time. Knead or mix until a sticky dough is formed.
  2. Transfer dough into a freezer bag. Cut tip end of the bag.
  3. In a deep pan with hot oil over medium high heat, pipe dough by batches in bite size pieces. Use a pair of scissors to cut dough into hot oil.
  4. Fry until golden brown. Transfer to a strainer to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  5. In a bowl, combine cinnamon powder and sugar. Mix well then roll each churros in the mixture.

Makes 5 servings

Yield: 2 cups churros dough/30 pc of bite size churros/6 pc per serving

  • Serve with chocolate syrup
