Ingredients:
1/4 | kg | potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed |
1/4 | cup | grated MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE |
1 | tsp | iodized fine salt |
1/4 | tsp | pepper |
1 | tsp | paprika |
1/4 | tsp | cayenne |
12 | pc | PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHEESEBALLS |
1 | cup | MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR |
1 | pc | MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten |
1 | cup | Japanese bread crumbs |
1 | cup | cooking oil |
Procedure:
1. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheese, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne. Mix well and let mixture cool down.
2. Get a spoonful of mashed potato and place a cheeseball in the middle. Wrap balls with mashed potato until fully covered. Repeat with remaining ingredients and chill for around 10 minutes.
3. Dredge in flour, dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs then deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and crisp. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve.
