TJ BALLS CROQUETTES


Ingredients:

1/4 kg potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
1/4 cup grated MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne
12 pc PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHEESEBALLS
1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten
1 cup Japanese bread crumbs
1 cup cooking oil

Procedure:

1. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheese, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne. Mix well and let mixture cool down.

2. Get a spoonful of mashed potato and place a cheeseball in the middle. Wrap balls with mashed potato until fully covered. Repeat with remaining ingredients and chill for around 10 minutes.

3. Dredge in flour, dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs then deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and crisp. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve.

 

Makes 4 servings.
