STAR GRILLED VEGGIE SANDWICHES


Ingredients:

1 cup STAR MARGARINE GARLIC
3 (1.5 g) pc fresh basil leaves, chopped (about 2 tbsp)
6 pc bread slices
1 (100 g) pc salad tomato, sliced
1 (100 g) pc white onion, sliced into rings
1 (100 g) pc small eggplant, sliced
1 (198 g) can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1 (160 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, sliced

Procedure:

  1. Combine margarine and basil. Mix well.
  2. Spread margarine thinly on both sides of bread slices. Set aside.
  3. In a grill pan, arrange vegetables and brush with margarine mixture and grill until tender. Set aside. Wipe grill pan.
  4. Arrange grilled veggies on 3 slices of bread. Cover with remaining bread slices to make sandwiches.
  5. Grill sandwiches until slightly toasted on both sides.

Makes 3 servings.
