SAUTEED HOTDOGS AND ONIONS IN KETCHUP


Ingredients:

1 pc (70 g) onion, cut into rings
1 pack (250 g) PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOGS CLASSIC, about 7 pc sliced diagonally
3 tbsp (36 g) STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
3/4 cup (169 g) banana or tomato ketchup
pinch iodized fine salt
pinch pepper
dash hot sauce (optional)

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, sauté onion and hotdog in melted margarine over medium heat and cook for about 2 minutes. 
  2. Add ketchup and mix well. Season with salt, pepper and hot sauce. 
Makes 4 servings.
(Yield: 2 cups / 1/2 cup per serving)

Tip:
  • Add mushrooms and bell peppers to extend dish.
  • Add sliced Purefoods Bacon to make the dish more savory.
