QUICK CHICKEN BIRYANI



Ingredients:

3 tbsp cooking oil
1 (60g) pc onion, chopped
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 kg Jasmine rice, washed
3 cups chicken stock
2 (150 g each) can PUREFOODS CHICKEN HOMESTYLE CURRY
1 pc bay leaf (laurel)
1/8 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 cup frozen green peas

Procedure:

  1. Using a rice cooker/pot, sauté onion in hot oil, add tomato paste until oil comes out red.
  2. Add rice, chicken stock, chicken curry and bay leaf. Let the rice cook. Season with salt and top with green peas.

Makes 7 serving.
