PORK AND SHRIMP SIOMAI


Ingredients:

1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 kg shrimps, peeled and sliced, set aside some for topping
1 (40 pc) pack wonton wrappers or molo wrappers
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 kg MONTEREY GROUND PORK
50 g pork fat, chopped
3/4 cup chopped shiitake mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup grated singkamas
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

Sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce
5 pc calamansi

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except wonton wrappers. Mix well.
  2. Place every tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each wrapper. Form into dumplings. Top with some shrimp.
  3. Transfer to steamer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with soy sauce and calamansi.

Makes 10 servings.
