PASTA WITH CLAM AND PARSLEY CREAM SAUCE


Ingredients:

1/2 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup white wine
1/2 cup cooked and shelled clams (reserve 1/2 cup broth for sauce)
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
1/4 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
200 g linguine pasta, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. Prepare sauce by melting butter in a saucepan. Sauté garlic then add wine, clam broth and cream. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add clams and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 1 minute more then add chopped parsley.
  3. Pour sauce on pasta and serve immediately.
Makes 5 servings.
