Japanese Bacon Pancakes


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, sliced and fried
1 (180 g) pack MAGNOLIA PANCAKE AND WAFFLE MIX, mixed with 1/2 cup water
3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 (100 g) pc onion sliced
1 (200 g) pc cabbage, shredded
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1/4 (78.25 g) cup store bought barbecue sauce
1 (23 g) bundle green onions, chopped

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, mix together bacon, pancake batter, eggs, onion and cabbage. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Form every 1/2 cup batter into small pancakes. Fry in a non-stick pan with butter over low heat. Cook each side for about 2 minutes.
  3. Drizzle barbecue sauce on cooked pancakes and top with green onions before serving.

Makes 6 servings.

Tip/s:

  • Use a variety of toppings such as nori wrapper, bonito flakes, or pork floss
