HOTDOG CANNELLONI CASSEROLE


Ingredients:

3 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1 (90 g) pc onion, chopped
1 (70 g) pc red bell pepper, chopped
1 (70 g) pc green bell pepper, chopped
13 pc PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG JUMBO
13 pc cannelloni pasta, cooked according to package directions
2 cups store bought salsa
1 (235 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE
1/4 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE
2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves (wansoy)

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and sauté onion and bell peppers until onion is tender. Add hotdogs and sauté for 2 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
  3. To assemble the dish, place a piece of hotdog inside each cannelloni. On an 8x11 inch baking dish, pour half of salsa and half of cheese spread. Arrange cannelloni side by side.
  4. Pour remaining cheese spread and salsa on top and spread evenly. Top with grated cheese and bake pasta until cheese melts. Garnish with cilantro just before serving.  

Makes 6 servings.

(Yield: 13 pc cannelloni/2pc per serving)
