HAWAIIAN RICE



Ingredients:

1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup minced onions
2 tbsp STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
100 g shrimps, peeled and deveined
1/3 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup green peas
1/2 cup grated buko meat
1/4 cup pineapple tidbits
4 cups cooked rice
iodized fine salt to taste

Procedure:

  1. Slice fresh pineapple to make a boat. Scrape pineapple meat from within to make a shell. Set aside.
  2. Saute garlic and onions in melted margarine. Saute shrimps until color changes. Add carrots and green  peas. Cook until vegetables are tender. 
  3. Add buko and pineapple tidbits. Stir-fry for 5 more minutes. Add rice. Toos until mixture is well-blended. Season with salt.

Makes 4 servings.
