HAWAIIAN RICE


Ingredients:

1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup minced onions
2 tbsp STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
1/3 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup green peas
1/4 cup pineapple tidbits
1/2 cup grated buko meat
1 cup diced PUREFOODS SWEET HAM
2 cups cooked rice
iodized fine salt to taste

Procedure:

  1. Sauté garlic and onions in melted margarine. Add carrots and green peas. Cook vegetables until tender.
  2. Add pineapple tidbits, buko and cooked ham. Stir-fry for 5 more minutes. Add rice. Toss until mixture is well blended. Season with salt.
Makes 3 servings.
