EMERALD FRANKS


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, chopped
1/2 cup chopped white onions
1 (300 g) pc cabbage, shredded
1/2 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp vinegar
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1 (500 g) pack PUREFOODS DELI GERMAN FRANKS
6 pc hotdog buns, split

Procedure:

  1. Cook bacon in its own oil until crisp. Remove bacon from pan.
  2. In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent. Add cabbage and cook until slightly wilted. Add mustard and vinegar then mix in crispy bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. To assemble, place franks in hotdog buns then top with cabbage mixture.
Makes 6 servings.
