Crispy Pata Soymansi


  1. Heat oil in a deep pan. Deep fry crispy pata. Remove from pan, drain off excess oil, and set aside.
  2. In another pan, sauté onions with 2 tablespoons of the oil used in frying. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add soy sauce, calamansi, and crushed pepper. Simmer for 1 minute. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until sauce thickens.
  4. In a serving plate, assemble sauce, crispy pata, and sautéed onions.

Makes 8 servings.
