CREAMY LUNCHEON MEAT SANDWICH CHAMPION


Ingredients:

1 can PUREFOODS LUNCHEON MEAT, sliced
2 pc ciabatta bread
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER
1/2 pc minced onion
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp chopped celery
1/4 tsp liquid seasoning
1/2 tsp chopped chives or green onions
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM

Stock:

pinch nutmeg
pinch white pepper
pinch salt

Procedure:

  1. Fry luncheon meat slices. Set aside.
  2. Toast bread slices.
    FOR MUSHROOM CREAM SAUCE:
  1. Sauté onion in butter.
  2. Add mushrooms, celery and chives.
  3. Add liquid seasoning.
  4. Add flour.
  5. Cook well to avoid raw floury taste.
  6. Add stock.
  7. Add cream.
  8. Salt and pepper to taste and simmer till sauce is thick.
    1. ASSEMBLY:
    1. Place slices of luncheon meat on bread and top with thick mushroom sauce.
