COOK EXPRESS KOREAN BEEF STEW


Ingredients:

1 (1 kg) pack COOK EXPRESS KOREAN BEEF STEW
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 (15 g) stalk onion leek, green part sliced thinly lengthwise and put in ice water until it curls (drain before using)

Procedure:

  1. To reheat Korean Beef Stew via microwave, pour frozen contents in a microwaveable container. Cover and microwave 13-15 minutes on medium to high setting. Stir every 2 minutes for an evenly heated product.
  2. To reheat via stove top, pour contents in a pot and heat over medium flame  for 20-25 minutes with occasional stirring until thoroughly reheated.
  3. Transfer to platter. Top with sesame seeds and curly leeks. 

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Note: 

Yield and heating time vary for 500g trays

Tip/s:

  • Serve with store bought kimchi and blanched sesame spinach.
  • To make Sesame Spinach, blanch about 1/2 kg tender spinach leaves in enough boiling water with 1 tsp iodized fine salt for 20-30 seconds. Quickly remove spinach leaves and submerge in ice cold water to stop from cooking. Drain and gently squeeze out excess water. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with 1 tbsp sesame oil and top with 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds.
