CHOCO MINT BROWNIES


Ingredients:

Base

3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup BAKER'S BEST MARGARINE
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp corn oil

Mint Glaze

1 cup powdered sugar
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA FRESH MILK
1 tbsp BAKER’S BEST MARGARINE, softened
1/2 tsp peppermint flavor
1 drop green food color
100 grams semi-sweet chocolate block, melted

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9” square pan.
  2. Beat eggs until light in color. Add flour and sugar and mix until well-blended.
  3. In a pan, melt margarine, cocoa powder, maple syrup and corn oil over low heat. Remove from heat and cool. Stir into the egg mixture until blended. Fold and mix well. Transfer mixture into prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Combine all glaze ingredients. Spread over cooled brownies. Drizzle top with melted chocolate.
Makes 8-10 servings.
