CHICKEN OATMEAL CONGEE


Ingredients:

1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1 pc chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 2 cups water
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1 (150 g) can PUREFOODS SHREDDED CHICKEN IN BROTH
2 tbsp chopped green onions
2 tbsp toasted garlic

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, combine oatmeal and chicken stock. Let boil and cook until oats are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  2.  Pour into serving bowls and top with chicken. Garnish with green onions and toasted garlic.
Makes 1 to 2 servings.
