CHEEZEE BBQ POCKETS


Ingredients:

10 pc sliced bread, crusts removed
5 pc PUREFOODS COOKED HAM
1 (160 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE, sliced into 16 pieces
1/3 cup store bought barbecue sauce
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten
2/3 cup DARI CRÉME CLASSIC, melted

Procedure:

  1. Flatten bread with a rolling pin.
  2. Place ham on one slice of bread. Top with three slices of cheese and one teaspoon of sauce. Brush edges with beaten egg and top with another slice of bread. Press edges using fork to seal. Repeat for the remaining ingredients.
  3. Brush all over with melted margarine and toast in a pan over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until bread is toasted. 

Makes 5 servings

Yield:  5 sandwiches

Tip/s:

  • Use an oven toaster and and toast for 8-10 minutes.
  • Option to fry in 2 cups of hot oil until golden brown.
