BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE


Ingredients:

1/4 cup DARI CRÈME CLASSIC
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 pc chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 4 cups water
1/3 cup MAGNOLIA FRESH MILK
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE CHEDDAR
4 cups cooked rice
200 grams PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHICK N’ CHEESE HOTDOGS, sliced
2 heads broccoli, cut into florets then blanched
1/2 cup grated MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE

Procedure:

  1. Melt margarine in a sauce pan. Add flour then slowly pour stock and milk. Stir continuously until simmering, making sure no lumps are formed. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in Cheezee squeeze then add rice and hotdogs.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place broccoli evenly at the bottom of a greased baking dish. Spoon rice mixture over broccoli in an even layer. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  3. Bake casserole until lightly browned around the edges, around 10 to 15 minutes. Serve casserole at once or cover with aluminum foil. Let rest for up to 20 minutes before serving.
Makes 5 servings.
