BLACK & WHITE CUPCAKES


Ingredients:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, softened
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cane vinegar
1 tbsp PUREFOODS SUPREMO CANE VINEGAR
1/3 cup BAKER'S BEST MARGARINE, melted
1 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup cocoa
1-1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/4 cup sugar
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
pinch salt
1/2 kg semi-sweet chocolate, chopped for topping

Procedure:

Prepare batter by combining all dry ingredients in a bowl. Make a well at the center then pour in all liquid ingredients. Using a wire whisk, hand-mix batter until mixture becomes smooth. Set aside. To prepare topping, blend cream cheese and sugar in a mixer. Add egg and salt. Set aside. Fill small muffin tins lined with muffin papers 1/2 full with chocolate batter. Top each with 1/2 tsp. cheese topping & chopped chocolate. Bake approximately for 18 to 20 minutes. Makes 18 servings.
