BANANA-LANGKA SOUFFLE


Ingredients:

1 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED, softened
2 tbsp sugar
150 g lakatan bananas, mashed
50 g chopped bottled langka
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use egg whites only
1-1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
extra powdered sugar for topping

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare 5 soufflé cups by brushing it lightly with butter. Coat insides of cups with sugar. Set aside.
  2. Combine banana, langka, vanilla and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg whites. When foamy stage is reached, add powdered sugar and continue beating until it reaches  peak stage. Fold in banana mixture, 1/3 at a time into the egg white mixture. Mix well.
  4. Transfer to individual soufflé cups. Bake for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top before serving. Serve immediately.

Makes 5 servings.
