BAKED CABBAGE WITH VIENNA SAUSAGE


Ingredients:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA BUTTERCUP
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1-3/4 cups MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1 (160 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEDDAR CHEESE
3/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (30 g) pc bell pepper, chopped
1 (900 g) head cabbage, shredded (8 cups)
1 (230 g) can PUREFOODS VIENNA SAUSAGE, sliced 1/2” thick

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt margarine in a saucepot. Stir in flour, milk and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Stir constantly until mixture thickens. Add the bell peppers.
  3. In a greased baking dish, put half of the shredded cabbage and half of the sausages. Pour half of the cheese sauce. Add the remaining cabbage, sausage and cheese sauce. Bake for 30 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.
