YULETIDE RICE DELIGHT


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped PUREFOODS PEAR SHAPED HAM
1 cup dried shrimps (hibe)
1 cup chopped baguio beans
1 cup sauteed shrimp paste (ginisang bagoong)
5 cups cooked rice
1 pc finger peppers (siling haba)
1 cup drained whole corn kernels (reserve juice)

Procedure:

  1. Melt butter in wok then sauté garlic and onions. Add ham, dried shrimps and Baguio beans. Mix well.
  2. Add shrimp paste and rice. Blend well.
  3. Stir in corn, finger pepper and corn juice. Cook for 4-5 minutes more over moderate heat.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
