Walnut Rum Chocolate Loaf



  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Line the bottom of a loaf pan with baking paper. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients for the base using a wooden spoon until smooth. Pour into prepared pan and top with walnuts. Bake for 30 minutes.
  3. For rum syrup, combine water, sugar, and rum in a sauce pan. Boiled for 5 minutes. Pour syrup on baked loaf.

Makes 8-10 servings.
