TURKEYDOG SANDWICH WITH MALUNGGAY PESTO SAUCE


Ingredients:

6 pc PUREFOODS SMOKED TURKEY FRANKS
6 pc mini baguette or hotdog buns

PESTO:

50 grams malunggay leaves, washed
1 cup olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp pine nuts, slightly toasted
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp iodized fine salt
pinch white pepper

Procedure:

  1. Combine all pesto ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning.
  2. Cook franks with some water over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Place in buns then drizzle some malunggay pesto.
Makes 6 servings.
