Star Tanigue

  1. In a pan, stir-fry garlic with cooking oil until fragrant. Add 1/2 cup Star Margarine to add flavor.
  2. Season tanigue slices with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice. In a plastic bag, place tanigue slices, prepared garlic and melted Star Margarine. Marinade for at least 15 minutes.
  3. In a non-stick pan, melt 1 tbsp Star Margarine and pan grill the tanigue slices one by one for 2-3 minutes each side at moderate heat. You can also adjust the cooking time depending on your desired result but do not overcook to keep the fish moist.
  4. Place tanigue steaks in a serving platter. Top with garlic and Star Margarine then serve.

Makes 3 servings.

Tip/s: Garnish with lemon slices and parsley if desired.
