SNICKERDOODLES


Ingredients:

1 bar BAKER’S BEST MARGARINE, softened
2 cups sugar
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1-1/2 cups vanilla extract
3.25 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tbsp + 1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tbsp cinnamon

Procedure:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Line baking trays with baking paper and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, 1-1/2 cups sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking powder, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Shape dough into 1” balls.
  4. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar in a small bowl. Roll balls of dough in cinnamon-sugar mixture, making sure that the dough balls are generously coated with the mixture. Place the balls 2-inches apart on prepared pans and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  Makes 36 pieces
