SAUSAGE AGLIO OLIO PASTA


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups virgin olive oil  
10 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
5 pc PUREFOODS DELI GERMAN FRANKS, sliced 1/4" thick
1 pack tomatoes, chopped and seeded
3 tbsp fresh basil, sliced into thin strips
3 tbsp iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
1/2 kg angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan using low-medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced garlic and allow to cook until almost golden brown in color.
  3. Add the sausages and allow to cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes to the pan and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes more. Mix well.
  5. Remove pan from heat and add the basil and toss in cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper. 

Makes 8-10 servings.
