Shoyu Ramen

Procedure:

1. In a medium saucepot, heat water and add the next 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 6 hours over low heat. Set aside beef and slice when cool. Strain broth and discard strained solids.
2. In serving bowls, arrange ramen noodles, bamboo shoots, fish cakes, sliced beef and bean sprouts. Pour hot broth and garnish with green onions.
