SAUSAGE MEAT LOAF


Ingredients:

Meat Loaf

1/2 kg MONTEREY GROUND BEEF
1 can PUREFOODS VIENNA SAUSAGE, drained and mashed
3/4 cup sweet style tomato sauce
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
5 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, slightly beaten
1/2 cup chopped white onions
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped pickles
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp minced garlic
3 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Sauce

1/4 cup sweet style tomato sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp mustard

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl combine all meat loaf ingredients. Place mixture in a 10 x 4 inch loaf pan.
  3. In another bowl, combine ingredients for sauce. With a pastry brush, brush mixture on surface of meat loaf. Bake for 45 minutes.

Makes 4-6 servings.
