POTATO BREAD


Ingredients:

7 cups bread flour
1 tbsp EMPEROR’S BEST INSTANT YEAST
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp iodized fine salt
1-1/2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
1-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS

Procedure:

  1. Combine 1/2 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Set aside.
  2. Mix mashed potatoes in milk, water and margarine.
  3. On low speed, gradually beat potato mixture into dry ingredients. Add eggs, beat for 2 minutes.
  4. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time to form a soft dough.
  5. Cut and form into desired shapes. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Place in a loaf pan. Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes.
