OVEN BAKED FISH


Ingredients:

1/2 kg cream dory fish fillets
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp calamansi juice
1 tbsp grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE
1 cup Japanese breadcrumbs
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED , melted (reserve a little for greasing baking dish)

Procedure:

  1. Season fish fillets with salt, pepper and calamansi juice. Set aside in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix together cheese, breadcrumbs and parsley. Dredge fish in flour then in butter then roll in breadcrumb mixture. Lay on a plate and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease rectangular baking dish with butter. Put fish fillets on baking dish then drizzle with remaining butter while baking.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until top turns golden brown.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
