NUGGETS AND BACON CHEESE PASTA


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS FUN STUFF NUGGETS
2 cups cooking oil, for deep-frying
1 (225 g) bar MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, chopped
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
1 (160 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
6 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use egg yolks only and beat
1/4 kg spaghetti noodles, cooked according to package directions
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. Deep fry chicken nuggets in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and add olive oil. Sauté garlic and bacon and cook until bacon changes in color.
  3. Over low heat, add cream and mix well then add cheese.
  4. Turn off heat then add about 1/4 cup of the mixture to beaten egg yolks. Mix and add mixture back to the saucepan.
  5. Toss sauce with warm spaghetti. Season with salt and pepper and top with extra cheese, if desired. Top pasta with 2 to 3 pieces of the fried nuggets.

Makes 4 servings.
