Mussels (tahong) In Golden Butter Sauce

Procedure:

  1. In a deep soup pot, add butter, garlic and cook until garlic turns brown.
  2. Add onions and mix for a few seconds then add tahong, lime soda, salt & pepper.
  3. Cover and let boil until shells open in a few minutes.
  4. Transfer to a deep serving bowl. Discard unopened shells.
  5. Top with parsley.

Makes 4-5 servings.
