Monterey Cheeseburger Logs


  1. Thaw beef burger patties in the refrigerator until softened.
  2. Form patties into logs about 1 inch in diameter and pan-fry in hot oil.
  3. Cook for 4 minutes over moderate heat.4. Just when you are about to remove logs from the pan, immediately place a cheese slice around each burger.
  4. Allow cheese to slightly melt around the log.
  5. Place this into a hotdog bun.
  6. Serve with mayonnaise and catsup if desired.
