MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT TACOS


Ingredients:

20 pc 6” taco shells
1 cup pork and beans (optional)
1/4 kg shredded lettuce leaves
1 (185 grams) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated

Filling

1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tbsp crushed garlic
2 pc small chillies (siling labuyo), chopped
1/2 cup MONTEREY GROUND BEEF
2 tsp rock salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 cup tomato sauce
2/3 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup canned sweet corn
1/2 cup chopped button mushrooms
1/2 cup diced white onions

Procedure:

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add garlic and cook until brown. Add chilies, beef, salt, chilli powder. Cook until meat changes color.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. To assemble: Put 1/4 cup filling on reheated taco shell. Top with a tablespoon each of pork, beans, lettuce and cheese.
Makes 6 servings.
