LION'S HEAD MEATBALLS


Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Combine the first 11 ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Add more cornstarch if mixture is too wet.
  2. Form into 2” meatball pieces then slightly flatten.
  3. Heat oil in an then fry meatballs over medium heat. Drain oil.
  4. In the same pan, add the chicken broth and soy sauce. Let simmer. Once simmering, add the fried meatballs. Add the pechay and cook for about 2 minutes. Transfer on a serving dish. Arrange the pechay beside or surrounding the meatballs to make the meatballs look like a lion’s head with its mane.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
