LENGUA DE GATO (CAT'S TONGUE)


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
0.5 cup MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use egg whites only
1.5 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tsp vanilla

Procedure:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F or 175C. Line 2 baking trays (14 x 16 x 1 inch) with bake paper. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg whites, all purpose flour and vanilla. Put in a piping bag with a small round tip. Pipe out 2 inches long on prepared pans, leave 2 inches space in between as cookies will spread.
  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until sides of cookies are medium brown. Cool. Remove from pans. Store in cookie jars with paper napkin at the bottom.
