ITALIAN SAUSAGE CANNELLONI


Ingredients:

3 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
4 cup PHC Primo d’ Italia Italian sausage
24 pcs Cannelloni Pasta
415 grams PHC Spaghetti Sauce
165 grams Magnolia Cheese Sauce
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Procedure:

Pre-heat oven to 325 F. Using medium flame, heat the oil and butter in a pan. Once butter has melted, sauté the onions until slightly translucent. Add all the peppers and continue to sauté for another 3-4 minutes. Add the Italian sausage, mix well, and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl and allow to cool. To assemble the dish, place 20-25 g of the Italian sausage mixture into each of the cannelloni pasta tubes. Arrange one layer on an 8x11 baking dish and pour half of the spaghetti sauce on top of the cannelloni. Pour half of the cheese sauce on top of the salsa. Repeat the process until all the cannelloni pasta has been utilized. Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
