HENY SISON'S HAM WITH BOURBON BUTTERSCOTCH GLAZE


Ingredients:

1 kg PUREFOODS FIESTA HAM

GLAZE:

1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1-1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup Bourbon whiskey
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F with the rack in the center. Place the ham in the roasting pan. Using a sharp knife, score the ham in a diamond pattern, cutting 1/4” deep.
  2. Place cloves in the center or in the corner of each diamond. With a basting brush, gently brush the ham with glaze. Put in the oven and baste with remaining glaze every 10 minutes for 30 minutes.
  3. Slice ham with a sharp knife and serve with bread or dried and fresh fruits, if desired.
