HAM AND CHORIZO ASPARAGUS PASTA


Ingredients:

1 (210 g) can PUREFOODS CHORIZO BILBAO STYLE, sliced (reserve lard)
1 (50 g) pc white onion, chopped
5 clove garlic, chopped
1 (250 g) pack PUREFOODS SWEET HAM, cubed
1 tbsp chili flakes
1 (150 g) bundle asparagus, sliced into 1 inch pieces
450 g spaghetti, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, melt lard from chorizo then sauté onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes over medium high heat.
  2. Add chorizo, ham, chili flakes and asparagus. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Toss in pasta. Mix well.

Makes 5 servings.
