GRILLED FRANKS WITH HERB ROASTED MUSHROOMS ON TOAST


Ingredients:

4 pc PUREFOODS DELI BEEF FRANKS WITH ANGUS
6-8 pc fresh mushrooms (button, shiitake or Portobello), sliced
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried rosemary
1/8 tsp iodized rock salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 pc French bread, sliced diagonally about 1/2" thick
1 (185 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, sliced 1/4" thick

Procedure:

  1. Pan or charcoal grill franks. When cooked slice diagonally. Set aside.
  2.  Toss mushrooms with oregano and rosemary in a frying pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook mushrooms over high heat for about 2 minutes. Set aside.
  3.  Divide mushrooms among bread slices then top with sliced franks. Top each sandwich with a piece of sliced cheese.
  4. Bake in the oven set at 350°F until cheese melts. Serve while hot.
Makes 5 sandwiches.
