DARI CREME ICING


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, use egg whites only
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup water
2-1/2 cups sugar
3 (200 g each) bars DARI CREME CLASSIC

Procedure:

  1. Combine egg whites and cream of tartar in a bowl.  Set aside.
  2. Combine water and sugar in a sauce pan then boil until thick and temperature reaches 125⁰C.  Once syrup reaches the temperature, turn off heat.
  3. Beat egg whites on high and pour syrup in a steady stream. Continue beating for 10 minutes.  Let cool.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat margarine until light in color.  Add cooled icing and mix until creamy and well blended.
Makes about 5 cups icing.
