CREAMY HAM IN TOMATO CUPS


Ingredients:

1/4 kg cherry tomatoes or regular native tomatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup grated MAGNOLIA CHEDDAR CHEESE
3 cups MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
8 slices PUREFOODS FIESTA HAM, chopped
shredded cabbage, lettuce or parsley leaves for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Cut the top of each tomato. Using a melon baller or a sharp knife, carefully scoop out the seeds and pulp. Place each tomato upside down on paper towels to drain.
  2. In a bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Stuff each tomato with the ham mixture.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve on a dish with shredded cabbage or lettuce or over parsley leaves.
Makes 8-10 servings.
